Simple homemade lever tools
The simple homemade lever tools shown in Fig. 1...5 are always useful in the household, and everyone can do them (both adults and schoolchildren).
All tools consist of two lever handles connected by a tin plate, which is attached to each handle with two screws. Handles are made of hardwood (beech, oak, ash, etc.), a tin plate is cut out of a tin can.
The pliers for splitting walnuts and hazelnuts are given in Fig. 1 and 2. The tin plate is attached to the handles with screws measuring 3x10 mm.

A very convenient and useful device for safely hammering nails (Fig. 3), with its help, it is possible to hold nails with a diameter of 1.5...4 mm and a length of more than 25 mm. Here, to install tin plates, you can take smaller screws, for example, with a size of 2x10 mm.

The tweezers (Fig. 4), or the pincer grip, is designed to hold various heated objects, but can also be useful when working with reagents. It is clear that it is easy to make tweezers of the right size for various jobs.

Cooking tongs (Fig. 5), as their name implies, will help when moving various food products, for example, cakes or toast. The sizes of the forceps are very diverse.
