The puzzling question of what to give inevitably arises upon receiving an invitation to a housewarming, birthday or wedding. And the kitchen set-panel will surely appeal to the most demanding hostess, and the owner too.

Cutting boards by their configuration (see Figure) themselves suggest which board should be taken for cutting a particular product. It is not so difficult to make such a headset.

The main tools here are an electric jigsaw and an electric cutter (preferably). The material is boards made of valuable (or at least superficially similar to them) wood species. To illustrate what has been said, we note that, for example, alder sometimes passes for mahogany.

As you can see from the picture, the set consists of a hanger and cutting boards. Templates will be needed for the production of blanks of parts. To do this, the contours of the parts are enlarged by cells at the scale you need. Choosing, for example, a 5x5 cm cage, transfer the drawing to a dense cardboard, and then specify the scale, for which try to inspect the kitchen, which is supposed to be decorated with this work of art and try on the templates in place. It is very important to ensure secrecy during reconnaissance.

For the manufacture of components set you will have to purchase boards with a thickness of 20 mm (preferably oak or ash). The lumber is carefully listened to and planed. The contours of the parts are outlined according to a template and cut out with an electric jigsaw; it is better to process the edges with an electric cutter. You can do with a file, a skin and a loop, but with an electric cutter, the work will go faster and better.

Holes in the hitching boards, of course, are drilled, and the edges of the holes are processed with a curly cutter with the same electric cutter. The pegs for the suspension are turned on a lathe and glued on the PVA into the holes in the hanger.

The surfaces of the boards are sanded with an electric vibration tool, and the edges are sanded manually by wrapping a rubber bar with a skin. The front surfaces are covered with polyurethane varnish, and the wrong surfaces of the boards on which the products are cut are left uncoated.
